My new Newton's Nook Designs stamps arrived in the mail yesterday! (Thanks, Jen, for such fast service!) For this card I used Newton's Sick Day and used several stamps to create the background. I then stamped and fussy cut Newton who was colored with Sprectrum Noir colored pencils. Afterwards, I cut the banner and half circle using Echo Park paper. The rectangular banner was cut, distressed, and stamped. Using some foam tape, I adhered everything. the finishing touch was to add some sequins (Cupcake Inspirations). Now all I have to do is wait for someone to get sick! (Just kidding!) ~Debbie
This card features a new stamp set for me--Paper Smooches--Hot Concoctions. I used DCWV Gilded Paper Stack. This is a small card (~3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches) using a portion of the paper from the stack. To add a bit of interest I cut the paper and added fun foam to add dimension. I stamped the cup on cardstock and die cut the small doily from DCWV. With the sentiment stamped on and a few gold dots added, I ended up with a fun little card! Thanks for stopping by! ~D
I'm still playing with some new stamps. Yep, I treated myself well this Christmas! This time I'm playing with There She Goes-Wonderful Winter Wishes set. To my great sadness, There She Goes is closing their doors at the end of this month. For this card, I cased one of TSG's trendsetter, Karin. She is absolutely amazing in her coloring skills and her sweet designs. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Debbie
