Take Life One Cup at a Time

I found so many challenges that inspired this card.  I decided to use the Inky Paws current sketch to showcase the Newton's Nook Designs Coffee Delights stamp set.  I used papers from the NND Black & White Basics and the Lovely Hearts paper pads. To make the banner, I used the Banner Trio dies from NND.  I colored the coffee mugs in shades of red, grays and blacks using Copic Markers.  I love how this turned out.  Here are the challenges that inspired this card:

Besides the red and white, I was inspired to include patterns in my card.

I love this color combo!  I had to play with them!

I used heart papers in my design.

This is the Inky Paws Sketch I used to create the layout.  I think this layout works so well different pattern papers.  I'm on the IPC design team, so I hope you will be inspired to link up your NND creation!  Inky Paws Challenge

Hello Sunshine

I was inspired to create this card based on the below challenges.  I used Newton's Nook Designs Basic Frames die set to create the stitch layers. I used Kat Scrappiness Teal Glitter paper pad for the light teal layer. The pink layer was made using water colors.  The same is true of the sun which was die cut using NND Sky Scene Builders die set. I then added the Newton from the Newton's Happy Meowr stamp set. It was fun to make a summer card! We have lots of sunshine here in Idaho, but with 3 inches of snow on the ground, we are far from warm!

Love the summer image and those pretty colors!

This little kitty image makes me smile.  I can just imagine a little fur ball sipping a little cocktail in hopes of sipping up that fish.  And those sunglasses on the fish...so silly!

Happy Cake Day

Happy Cake Day by Debbie features Newton's Nook Designs products; #newtonsnook, #craftrocket, #kraftychicks, #birthdaycards, #catcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge

I'm sharing a fun birthday card featuring lots of festive fun.  I used Newton's Nook Designs' Frames & Flags die set to create the scallop edging using NND's Birthday Party paper pad. I created a vellum hexagon using NND Hexagon Frames die set. The birthday kitty is the NND Newton Loves Cake stamp set. At last, I stamped the sentiment on the little ticket die cut from the NND Framework die set.

I am sharing this card with the following challenges:

mmm... coffee

I had more time tonight for another card, so here it is!  I used a stencil and Distress Ink to make the background. I then stamped (The Alley Way) some coffee cup stains. I added the the strip, vellum, and twine. I stamped the coffee cup (The Alley Way) and colored with Spectrum Noir markers and adhered.  The steam was stamped on vellum and adhered.  I finished it up with the sentiment...coffee (The Alley Way). With a little dot finished it off!  Now I'm thirsty and in need of some caffeine!
