Home Tweet Home

I'm excited to dust off this stamp set from 2014.  I found the cutest sketch that those little brances worked perfectly!

This stamp set is Tweet Talk by Newton's Nook Designs. I used NND's Basic Frames die set. I colored with Copic Markers.  I love the simplicity of this card!

Sending Smiles

I adore this darling set from Your Next Stamp--Perk Up! I pulled the sentiment from the YNS--Woodland Cuties set.  I thought this sentiment worked perfectly with the YNS  "Let's See Smiles" Challenge!

I am used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.

I used the colors from the Color Throwdown Challenge #526

{heart) coffee

Here's another card I whipped up this afternoon. I wiped on Hero Arts and Distress Inks to create the background. I die cut the coffee cups and coffee sentiment from white card stock. I then die cut the heart and added some shimmer. I attached all this to some pink card stock and adhered to an embossed card base.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Halloween-Nontraditional Colors

I am not really a big fan of Halloween, but I absolutely LOVE making Halloween cards!  This card features Newton out scary everybody!  I fell in love with the colors from The Color Throwdown challenge!  Therefore, a Halloween card in very nontraditional colors!  I have to say I love it!  I inlaid the watercolored background (The Cat's Pajamas' Frame Up Cutups). I punched the cute tree and added some bark with a black gel-pen. I add a few iridescent sequins. I added some twine and embossed the sentiment (unknown source).

mmm... coffee

I had more time tonight for another card, so here it is!  I used a stencil and Distress Ink to make the background. I then stamped (The Alley Way) some coffee cup stains. I added the the strip, vellum, and twine. I stamped the coffee cup (The Alley Way) and colored with Spectrum Noir markers and adhered.  The steam was stamped on vellum and adhered.  I finished it up with the sentiment...coffee (The Alley Way). With a little dot finished it off!  Now I'm thirsty and in need of some caffeine!

Smitten

Here's my card using some fabulous colors from The Color Throwdown and a great sketch from CAS(E) this sketch.  I know I should be making Christmas cards, but instead I seem more inclined to make Valentine's Days ones!   No matter--Happy Holidays!  Debbie
