Inky Paws Challenge #247 Week 2

Inky Paws Challenge

Week 2 Inspiration

The holidays are upon us, and this month we are asking for some Holiday Sparkle & Shine on your Newton's Nook Projects for winter, Christmas, and even New Year!

You have until Friday, December 19, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!

Debbie's snowy card features Snowman Postage Sampler, Land Borders, Basic Frames, Cheerful Brights Glitter, Essential Tags, and Basic Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenge, #holidaycards, #nndstamps, #nndpapers, #wintercards, #snowmancards, #snowycards

I can't seem to get enough of these little snow people from the Snowman Postage Sampler stamp set. This week, I've created a playful wintery scene. I used the Basic Frames die set to create the window from the pink cardstock. I then added the blue glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment and pulled white glitter paper from my stash which I die cut using the Land Borders die set. I die cut some snow flakes using the Snowfall die set. I modified the tag created using the Essential Tags die set for my sentiment. I placed all my snow people using some 3D foam tape.  I love the bright blue against the pink!

Now's it your turn.  What will you create this month?

Mom, Thank Mew!

I am so excited to share this card!  Being a fur baby mommy, I love getting presents from my fur babies which inspired me to create this Mom's Day card. This is an A7 sized card sporting dies from Newton's Nook Designs--A7 Frames & Banners. I then used NND's Welcome New Cat stamp set.  I love this new stamp set!  These kittens with all their toys just makes me smile! I then used NND's Essential Alphabet die set to cut out the letters which had little paw prints inked on (Petite Paw Print stencil).  I then heat embossed the sentiments using white embossing powder.  I loved how I repurposed this stamp set for a mother's day card!  I can't wait for my cats to send it to me!  LOL

Inky Paws Challenge #106 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration
for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.
Theme Challenge

Create a project using the theme-- Halloween!

Today I have  more inspiration for this Challenge!

Happy meow-oween by Debbie features Ghosts, Witchy Newton, Fancy Edges Tag, and Newton's Perfect Pumpkin by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I wanted to play with the Ghosts Stencil again.  For this card, I used Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot distressed oxide inks to create the eerie background. I then created a black tag using the Fancy Edges Tag die set. I decided to use a sentiment from the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp set and heat embossed it in white.  I stamped and fussy cut the kitty image from the Witchy Newton stamp set and colored with gray, teals, and purples.  I added teal twine, purple twine, and a black bow to the tag. I then added some glittery teal dots for a bit of bling!

Now it's your turn to link up your NND Halloween card!

Happy Crafting!
Deb

Here's my inspiration!

Best witches by Debbie features Witchy Newton, Bokeh, Ghosts, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
This week I pulled out the newly released Witchy Newton stamp set. I am loving this new Halloween image!  I colored using Spectrum Noir markers in a black, purple, and lime green.  I love purple and lime green together!  I colored the kitty in shades of orange and browns.  For my center panel, I used distress inks in the same purple, lime green color scheme using the Bokeh Stencil set.  I then added white ghosts using the Ghosts Stencil.  I love how the green and purples can subtly be seen through the ghosts.  I cut the panel using the Frames & Flags die set.  I added a lime green ribbon.  For my sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a black banner and adhered a bit of purple/white twine.  Hope my card will inspire you to pull out your Newton's Nook Designs stamps and link up your Halloween card.

NND--Bunnicula Goes Trick or Treating!

Here's my 1st Halloween card for the season!  I pulled out Newton's Nooks Designs Boo Crew.  I love this bunny because he always reminds me of the book, Bunnicula by James Howe.  My oldest granddaughter is finally old enough to enjoy the book, so I'll be sending this card with the book!  Seriously, what can be more fun than reading about a vampire bunny!  I'm submitting this card to the these fabulous challenges.  Thanks for stopping by!  Debbie

Purrfect Day

This card features a couple Paper Smooches stamps. I started by using Design Motifs. I used Distress Inks. I inked the rhombus shape and stamped three times to achieve the ombre effect.  I continued stamping to create the background. I then stamped the cat and mouse (Charmed Lives) image twice to make them really black.  I added fun foam to the back to create some dimension. To finish things off I stamped the sentiment and added a bit of bling. This became a Father's Day's card from my kitties to my hubby!  As always, thanks for dropping by! ~Debbie

Cupcake Inspirations #272-A Day for Daisies

http://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.com/

http://adayfordaisies.com/

This week I am so excited to share my card.  I love A Day for Daisies images, especially any image with a kitty on it (big surprise!).  This week's image is entitled Tiger, and it reminds me of myself when I was a little girl.  I had a gray tabby named Spooky, and I would have rather married him when I was in third grade than any icky boy in my class!  He was such a sweet heart.  We had plenty of good times together, including all those days when I dressed him up in doll clothes! Okay, maybe it wasn't so fun for him, but he tolerated it without a hiss or growl.  Fortunately, I outgrew my dislike of boys, but my love of cats has never wavered.   My hubby and I now have a gray Maine Coon, Catapult, who is showered with love and kisses (but no doll clothes)!
I just had to make sure Spooky was part of the Easter picture!

So onto my card and this week's challenge!  Isn't this image remarkable?  If cats aren't your favorite, I promise you'll find something you will love.  There are thousands of amazing images!  This week's challenge at Cupcake Inspirations is all about colors--mint, white, and gold!  By participating, you will have a chance to win a $12 gift certificate at A Day for Daisies!  Be sure to link up at Cupcake Inspirations!  Hugs, Debbie
