2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party

I am so excited to continue participating in the {BYSHC} Linky Party.

My card today features a Simon's Says STAMPemberExclusive-2021 La-La Land Crafts.

I adore hippos since the premature birth of Fiona at the Cincinnati Zoo.  I am so excited to finally to get my hands on this set!  I used the fun die from My Favorite Thing-Stitiched Diagonal High/Low Cover Up. The paper is from A Recollections paper pad. I kept the color scheme monochromatic. The blue Santa hat and blue berries on the mistletoe just makes me smile! Stay tuned for another Hippo holiday card!

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #33--Coffee & Candy and/or Cookies

Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge #72

I used some of the above colors (pink, red, green, blue) in my card.

I'm using up scraps from the Pink & Main Jolly paper pad. For this card, I used the NND Frames & Flags die set to cut the outer scalloped frame from light blue glitter paper as well as the inner rounded-corner frame.  I then used up those scraps by adhering strips of papers. Once adhered, I cut off the edges and placed on the glitter paper.  I cut a couple of vellum squares using My Favorite Things-Die-namics Stitched Square STAX dies. I added the kitty images that had been stamped, colored with Copic markers, and cut using my Scan 'n' Cut.  I added Glossy Accents to the little coffee mug with the sentiment from the NND Holiday Elements stamp set. The top image is from a retired NND stamp called Newton's Candy Cane. The other image is from NND-Newton's Mug stamp set. I added a few gems to make it more sparkly!

TOP Inky Inspiration Sketch #25

I love the simplicity of this fabulous sketch, so I've been making lots of cards using. 

Card #1-Card #5 feature papers from a 12"X12" Card stack from DCWV--Good Eats.  I've had this stack forever!  As I was looking through my Newton's Nook Designs products, I realized that I had stamp images for pizza, donuts, tacos, and ice cream, so I thought it was about time to use up some of this paper stack for a collection of food-themed cards.  I used the above sketch on all the cards, but I did put the sentiment box at the bottom of a couple of cards to balance the card out better. If you haven't tried this sketch yet, you should as it is a fun, easy sketch that yields fabulous cards!

Spring & Summer Coffee-Lovers Blog Hop #1

I am so excited to play in the Spring & Summer Coffee-Lovers Blog Hop!

For this card, I've been dying to re-purpose this lemonade stand into a coffee stand. When I moved to western Washington, one of the things I noticed was ALL the different roadside coffee stands!  I thought it would be fun to place this coffee stand on the beach, so all the beach-seeking goers could enjoy a ice or blended coffee as they enjoy their summer walk! I know I would!

A Halloween Hello

Here is a Halloween card, I created using the colors from My Favorite Things Color Challenge. I recently purchased MFT's BB Witch Way Is the Candy? and wanted to play with them.  The colors definitely challenged me, but I'm excited how the overall card turned out.

Kneaded You

Here's my take on this week's Freshly Made Sketches.  I recently purchased BB Cool Cat from My Favorite Things. This particular image reminded me of my two-year-old kitten, Velcro, who is a bit on the chubby side.  I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. I used my Misti to add the paw prints to the top. I embossed the black panel before adhering the Velcro-look-alike!

I just love pulling out my coffee stamps and dies. This card features the darling Ellie Loves Latte from Your Next Stamp. I paired her up with a grande latte die from My Favorite Thing.  The File Folder Edge is also a die from MFT. The paper is from My Mind's Eye--Adventure and Carta Bella--Traditions.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Card #3

I am trying to squeeze in some more cards between work and my reading endorsement night classes.  This one features My Favorite Things' Die-namics LLD Coffee Cup and Verve Coffee Word Die.
