Inky Paws Challenge

Week 2 Inspiration

You have from Monday, April 7, 2025 to Friday, May 2, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

I started by pulling the yellow, polka-dotted paper from the Pastel Basics paper pad and cutting it with the scallop-edged frame die from the Frames & Flags die set). I then create the white scalloped oval using the Oval Frames die set.  I stamped the floral image from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set and colored with Copic markers. This was also cut using a die from the Oval Frames die set.  I pulled the sentiment from the Best Mom Oval stamp set and heat embossed it in the center of the flowers.  Once everything was adhered I added, the little bunny holding the daffodil. This fellow is from the the Hop Into Spring stamp set. I love all the daffodils on this card!

You Make My Heart Melt

I have a super cute holiday card featuring a little snowman from Paper Smooches Warm Hearts stamp set. I adore this fun snowman with his latte cup. I then used five different papers from Miss Kate Gingerbread Lane paper pad. I used the Heart Frames die set by Newton's Nook Designs.  I love the subtle colors of this paper pad.

Colllection of Masculine Coffee Cards

I'm entering this particular card to the following challenge:

Today's cards feature a darling coffee-themed stamp from Unity.This fun image is Coffee-Doodle-Doo! 

I used the following sketch for all the above cards using mostly papers from Echol Park Paper-Witches & Wizards and Witches & Wizards No. 2.  The last card features paper from Unity Stamp that was sent with my order!

Today starts a new Inky Paws Challenge!

Here's my inspiration!

I create a sweet, lucky card using polka-dotted paper from the A Cat's Life paper pad and die cut using the Frames & Flags die set. I distress a cloudy background using the Clouds stencil and add some hills using the Land Borders die set. Enjoying the spirng day is one of the mice from the Birthday Mice stamp set. I create a custom clover balloon using dies from the Candy Heart and the Balloon Shaker die sets. I pull a sentiment from the Heartfelt Essentials stamp set. For a pop of color, I add some pink flowers using the Newton Blooms stamp set!
