Thanks a Latte

This sweet hedgehog makes me smile with his scarf and latte!  He is from Gerda Steiner Designs--Coffee Hedgehog.  I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers and kept it to one layer card.

Birthday Bear

For this card, I stamped the balloons and bear and colored them using Distress Inks. I then cut the silver foil card stock. Once I adhered everything, I added some confetti and sequins to add more sparkle and shine.

Happy Harvest with Newton

I couldn't wait to play with this month's Inky Paws Challenge!  For this card, I used distress ink and watercolored the background.  Then I used a leaves embossing folder.  Wagon of Wishes is the Newton's Nook stamp which I colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  Thanks for stopping by!

Oops--Lawnscaping Challenge #16 & Less is More Wk 28

Tonight I combined Lawnscaping  and Less is More Challenges.  Both required only one layer--yep, only one layer of paper.  Mandi from Less is More inspired me to pull out some LuminArt Primary Elements and try something new.  Seriously when I purchased the LuminArt materials, I had absolutely no idea how to use them, but they were 75% off, so I had to buy them.  Tonight I combined them with some water and painted inside my science bottles (Love Potion #9 --Itty Bitty by Unity).  My thought process was for the card to look like there was an explosion.  Using the OOPS sentiment, I could use this card for a forgotten birthday or an I'm sorry card when I do something wrong.  I tried to balance the card with the ribbon and a jeweled brad.  I'm still not sure about this card, but I did move outside my comfort zone and enjoyed myself!

P.S.  I think I put too much "explosion."  Might need to retry leaving more white space.  Hmm?
